The worldwide event of homeland security – Milipol – has been organized for the first time in 1984 in Paris and occurs every two years. In 1996, the State of Qatar chose the Milipol trademark for its international references to launch an event dedicated to homeland security in the Middle East.
The Milipol Qatar exhibition is being held every even-numbered year under the authority of the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Qatar, H.E. Cheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
