Bittium has received a purchase order from its European partner for supplying the procurement agency of a European country’s armed forces with a tactical communications solution. The modern and high-performance tactical communications solution supports commanding the troops and will be in test use by the special operations forces of the country’s armed forces. The communications solution to be supplied includes Tough SDR Vehicular radios, Tough SDR Handheld radios, software, and accessories. The value of the purchase order is approximately EUR 2.2 million and the products will be delivered during the year 2025.

In addition to the Tough SDR radios and their accessories, Bittium will deliver tactical waveforms, including ESSOR High Data Rate Waveform, that are at the core of the high-level data performance, security, and reliability of the network, as well as Voice over IP solutions that enable resilient voice across the network.
