Hytera, a leading global provider of professional communications technologies and solutions, provided robust and seamless communication support for “2025 Integrated Exercise in Disaster Response,” China’s ministry-level emergency drill, ensuring stable command coordination and real-time communication across multiple critical scenarios on June 24.

The large-scale exercise, jointly organized by the national disaster management and work safety authorities, simulated multiple complex disaster scenarios. The exercise featured solutions for four emergency scenarios: multi-hazard rescue operations under power, cellular network, and road outages; major forest fire containment in remote and primeval zones; large tank fire and explosion response; and high-rise building firefighting in urban settings across five cities in Heilongjiang, Henan, and Guangdong provinces. Over 2,000 emergency responders participated in 23 coordinated sub-tasks.

Hytera has been leading the delivery of PDT and Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) systems to emergency response authorities in many provinces of the country. The emergency communications networks in Heilongjiang, Henan, and Guangdong provinces, along with provincial and ministerial-level systems. This infrastructure supported both the National Emergency Rescue Center in Northeast China and the four main drill sites.

To further guarantee reliable coverage, Hytera deployed a large number of integrated portable trunking base stations. Supported by this robust network infrastructure, over 1,000 PDC680 Dual-mode Rugged Radios facilitated real-time communication and coordinated live broadcast operations. This comprehensive communication solution enabled efficient command, seamless collaboration, and smooth execution of the complex drill scenarios.

Working in coordination with local service partners, Hytera technical teams completed rapid network deployment, terminal configuration, and on-site testing to ensure reliable operations throughout the drill. Hytera also provided ongoing technical assurance through daily system checks, coverage inspections, and fault resolution, reinforcing the stability of the communication network.
