Hytera, a leading global provider of critical communications technologies and solutions, has announced the release of Hytera HyTalk MC 6.1, the latest upgrade to its carrier-grade broadband mission critical services(MCX) solution. The new version introduces a three-site active-active-active architecture, enhanced MC dispatch integration, and strengthened system security, further improving reliability and performance in complex operational environments.

Built on 3GPP standards, Hytera HyTalk MC is designed for industries such as public safety, transportation, and energy, where uninterrupted communication and data integrity are essential. The 6.1 upgrade addresses increasing demands for higher system resilience and operational efficiency, enabling users to build a more robust and future-ready communication platform.

A key enhancement in this release is the transition from a two-site to a three-site active-active-active architecture, delivering higher service continuity through multi-level redundancy. The system supports local data backup and multi-site synchronization to ensure data protection, while a Microservices-based design with multi-instance deployment enables load balancing and fault tolerance. With nearest-site access, latency is reduced and real-time performance improved. Meanwhile, multi-site load distribution helps eliminate single data center bottlenecks. When demand increases, the system can scale horizontally to maintain uninterrupted services and optimize resource utilization.

Hytera HyTalk MC 6.1 also enhances MC dispatch capabilities by enabling an integrated deployment approach, reducing system resource consumption and improving deployment and maintenance efficiency. In addition, the new version strengthens MCX security, particularly in cross-system communications, providing more robust protection for critical operations.

Hytera HyTalk MC has already been widely deployed across industries such as rail, metro, power, and steel, with proven success in complex environments. Representative projects include Sri Lanka Railways, LECO Electricity MCPTT, Baosteel's MCX+TETRA deployment, and the Hong Kong MTR 5G MCX project, demonstrating strong reliability and adaptability in real-world applications.

Hytera continues to expand its ecosystem through close collaboration with Operators. In China, the company contributed to the development of China Mobile Research Institute's White Paper on MCX, supporting the "1+4+2+N" 5G critical communications framework. Internationally, Hytera has partnered with Vodafone Qatar to advance joint innovation, market expansion, and service capabilities, helping organizations improve coordination, enhance safety, and deliver higher-quality services.
