NEC Software Solutions (NECSWS) has today announced the completion of the acquisition of Riven, strengthening its portfolio of cutting-edge technology in support of its digital transformation of services and solutions.

NECSWS provides innovative software and services to Central and Local Government, Health, Housing and Public Safety agencies across the UK and across the world.

Riven Group delivers a suite of tools that automatically identify personal information for redaction along with scanning documents for hidden data, saving significant amounts of time and reducing the risk of data breaches. This solution is in use by nearly half of UK Police Forces and has recently won the NPCC Commissioner’s Award for AI Safety at the National AI Awards.
