Commdex announced today that it has entered into a value-added reseller partnership with Nokia to bring next-gen solutions to its customers. The partnership builds on the successful work that the two companies are doing for the U.S. Federal Government for a 5G research and development award. This is part of the Government’s mission to secure and enable resilient 5G infrastructure, mobility for government mission use, and emergency communications capabilities.
Commdex and Nokia have a common vision to create secure, intelligent, and integrated networks for the Government and other mission-critical users. By collaborating to provide 5G private wireless, IP-wide area networks, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and machine learning solutions, Commdex and Nokia are addressing the need for a secure, reliable, ultra-high bandwidth and low-latency network. Combining Commdex’s mature systems integration expertise and customer base with Nokia’s end-to-end unified network solutions, the companies will work together to address the needs of the customers for end-to-end integration, security management, and orchestration of their broadband networks.
“Nokia has deployed mission-critical networks to more than 2,200 leading enterprise customers in the transport, energy, large enterprise, manufacturing, webscale, and public sector segments around the globe. As a global 5G technology leader, Nokia Federal is excited to enter this partnership with Commdex,” said Randy Coltrin, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Development at Nokia Federal. We are confident the synergies between our two companies will move networking technology forward for the U.S. Federal Government.”
Prince Niyyar, Commdex’s CEO, said, “Commdex is committed to investing in the latest technologies to improve the effectiveness of our customers’ mission. 5G networks are a key enabler for the use cases involving automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, and augmented/virtual reality. We are thrilled to join forces with Nokia to bring network solutions that move the promise of their future into the present.”
