With just five days to go until doors open to one of the largest Comms Connect exhibitions in the event’s 18-year history, coming to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 18–19 October, now is the time to secure your pass if you haven’t already.
Over 75 of the region’s leading suppliers and manufacturers will have the latest products and tech on show, with plenty of interactive opportunities for visitors — including an intuitive emergency incident response VR demo station, LEO satellite demos and a number of comms vehicles to check out. The full list of exhibitors is available here and expo-only registration is completely free.
The Comms Connect team is also pleased to announce that the Tasmanian Government Radio Network (TasGRN) conference presentation has been elevated to the plenary keynote morning session on day one. The session will cover TasGRN’s significant partnership with Telstra — from inception to launch in July 2023 — and discuss how it helps provide the highest levels of safety for communities as well as emergency responders. The updated conference program is available here.
Finally, don’t forget the ARCIA and ACCF preconference workshops are being held on 17 October, covering subjects including private LTE/5G fundamentals, designing and planning microwave networks, mission-critical broadband and P25 standards. Further information on all six workshops, which are being held across three streams, is available here.
